Prayer Requests:
If you would like the church to pray for you or someone you know (we will assume you have their permission!) please let us know and we will include them in our prayers on Sunday.
Prayer Triplets:
Some of our congregation have linked up with others from local Methodist Churches to form Prayer Triplets. They meet at times arranged by each group to pray for personal needs, the needs of the church and of the community and wider world. Please eMail us if you would like to know more.
Pray for us:
We would value your prayers. Here are some of our needs:
Please pray for all those leading worship and preaching. Ask God to guide and annoint them with his Holy Spirit.
Please pray for our children and young people's work. May God challenge and inspire the children and young people to become true disciples of Jesus.
Please pray for wisdom for all who teach and lead the young people.
Please Pray for an openness for God's Spirit to move among us.
Please Pray that as a church we may be prepared to go where God is leading.
Please pray for strength, wisdom and encouragement for Richard as he serves overseas in Albania.
A Personal Prayer:
Dear Lord, when I feel lonely, may your Holy Spirit bring comfort.
When I am afraid, may I sense your peace.
When I feel hurt by others, help me to forgive.
When I am at fault, help me to say sorry.
When I am confused, help me to understand.
When I feel sad, help me to know your joy.
When I feel empty inside, fill me to overflowing.
When I don't know which way to turn, help me to turn to you.
May the peace of God which passes all human understanding, fill my heart and my mind, today and always. Amen.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, they will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil,
For thine is the Kingdom
The power and the glory.
For ever and ever. Amen.
